Earlier this month, the diversity ambassadors delivered an assembly to the whole school on International Women’s Day. The theme this year is #AccelerateAction which aims to begin to make a change within social norms and power dynamics.
We invited students along to the winter gardens to make a pledge of how they would help accelerate action. Students made pledges including calling out stereotypes, challenging discrimination, questioning bias and celebrating women’s success.
